How often do I need to apply the spray?
Once before your session is more than enough. If you apply the spray to the dry dome and polish it clear, you’ll have a water-repellent protective layer for your entire surf or dive session. The layer is only removed when you rub the glass dry with a towel after your session.
Can’t I just use spit or baby shampoo?
Saliva helps (temporarily) prevent fogging on the inside, but it does not prevent water droplets from forming on the outside of the dome. Baby shampoo washes off in moving salt water within a few minutes and is harmful to the reef. Our Lotus Spray forms a temporary bond with the glass, lasts significantly longer, and is 100% biodegradable.
Will the spray damage my expensive lenses?
No. The formula is completely free of harsh solvents and is explicitly approved for delicate acrylic and glass surfaces. You can use it on dome ports, expensive camera lenses, dive masks, or your sunglasses without any worry.
What about the shipping costs?
If you order the spray together with a Domemare smartphone dome case, shipping within Germany is free for your entire order anyway. If you reorder the spray separately, we recommend our 2-pack—this makes the shipping costs worthwhile and ensures you always have a backup on hand.
