1. Sa Calobra – The Film Set
Accessible only by boat or via a spectacular winding road.

Why go here? A gorge that ends in the sea. Deep blue water meets steep cliffs.

Photo tip: The white pebble beach and light seabed perfectly reflect sunlight. This provides natural lighting for your underwater portraits. Come early in the morning to avoid the crowds!
2. Cala Llombards – Our Favorite
Located in the southeast, this cove offers everything: sandy beach, cliffs for jumping, and fishermen’s huts.

The experience: Swim out of the cove to the adjacent rock formations.

Domemare use: The turquoise water here is ideal for split-shots. Keep the waterline exactly in the middle of the dome to show the picturesque fishermen’s huts above and the fish below at the same time.
3. Cala des Moro – The Wild One
A natural beauty you have to hike to (20 minutes on foot from Cala Llombards).

The vibe: Little space to lie down, but visually a highlight.

Photo tip: Especially at sunrise, the light rays magically break into the water. Use this effect for atmospheric shots just below the surface.
